Extra Mile Award Dinner
Once a year we take time to recognize teachers, administrators, and others in the region that have gone the “Extra Mile” with educational technology. Typically, the Technology Coordinators from each district nominate who they feel have gone the “Extra Mile” in their district. If you wish to nominate someone for this honor, please contact Ron Bennett below. The nomination deadline is May 2nd.

If you wish to attend and are not a nominee, membership to NPAECT is required. Everyone is welcome to become of member of NPAECT. Membership is $15 a year and can be paid the night of the event.

The Tech Fair Was a Success
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the 200+ students who participated in the Technology Fair and Student Showcase last night at the TREC Center.
The fair was a huge success and a great time was had by all in attendance. The students got the chance to see a Lewis and Clark movie on the big screen as well as visit the Microsoft bus. Twenty winners were awarded prizes provided by the vendors in attendance. Some of the prizes included: iTunes gift card, Amazon.com gift card, flat panel monitor, dvd player/recorder, and many more great prizes. A special thanks to the vendors for donating the prizes.
We hope to see all of you again next year at this great event.
