Sorry for the lack of posts! We have been busily preparing for our upcoming Dinner Meeting on March 19th, 2009 at IU5 and also for the Technology Fair and Student Showcase to be held at Edinboro University this year. We had a great time at Gadgets and Gizmos Night and many cool resources and tools were shared. If you couldn’t make it to the meeting check out the list below for what you missed!
K12 Online Conference: This is a conference by educators for educators around the world interested in integrating emerging technologies into classroom practice. This conference is totally online and free. All conference materials, podcasts, presentations are accessible at your convenience.
Flip Video: Flip Video is an ultra-portable USB video camera. These cameras can take up to 60 minutes of YouTube quality video that can be imported directly into your computer for editing. The camera even comes with easy to use editing software.
iPod Touch: Use an iPod Touch as a wireless internet device with any available WiFi access point. Of course, you can still listen to music, podcasts, audio books and watch movies.
Reactee: Design a shirt with your own unique keyword and response which you can update as frequently as you want. When someone sees your shirt they can text the Reactee service and your message will be displayed as a text message on their phone.
